I am really loving Quick Kutz. I have just been introduced recently and been having blast with endless possibilities!

Congratulations Jennifer! Be sure to get your prize Saturday morning!!!

Meet Molly!

We've got Molly Stamps to give away! IF you can pry them from my cold, clammy hands! I WANT THESE SETS! LOL!! If you aren't familiar with Molly stamps just read the following intro from their website:

"So who IS Molly Stamps? Molly Stamps is owned and operated by Russ Jones, and his creative, inspiring wife, Gayle Gawlowski. So WHY Molly Stamps? A number of years ago, Russ and his producing partner Kevin shot a hilarious mockumentary called "Inside Scrapbooking". In promoting the DVD, Russ got to know some fantastic crafters, and made some solid friendships. And in seeing some fantastically creative cards made by talented stampers, Russ and Gayle decided to dive in and create some of their own sets. They are excited to see what the stamping community does with their contributions!"

Now, go to their website and watch the trailer for the mockumentary "Inside Scrapbooking". Oh. My. Gosh. I want this DVD. It looks HILARIOUS and would be a GREAT addition to you next papercrafting get together. I might have to trade my husband in for a "Scrubby". (You'll know what that is when you watch the trailer:) While your there check out their stamp sets. They are FABULOUS!

We thank you for your support, Molly Stamps! I can't wait to see that DVD!

Taylored Expressions

If you haven't noticed I tend to use the words "yummy" and "delicious" quite a bit in my descriptive phrases. Well, honestly, when describing our next stamp sponsor there are NO other words! I became familiar with Taylor VanBruggen on SCS a couple of years ago. Her cards designs were fabulous and she was just such a nice person! I have been a stalker of her blog forever as well! Now, Taylor has branched out with her own online store and stamp line! In her own words, Taylored Expressions is "the place to satisfy your creative sweet tooth." Her exclusive line of Stamp a Sweet Impression stamps are DELICIOUS! I mean, who doesn't LOVE cupcakes? And her cuppie is just TOO cute!

Taylor was kind enough to send me two of her Key Ingredients sets to give away on Saturday. You will LOVE these YUMMY card kits that include cardstock, coordinating designer paper and embellishments.

THANKS TAYLOR!!!

All little something...............

for the stampers in the house! Now, I like to scrap. But, my first love is and probably always will be rubber stamping. I know many of you love to stamp as well so I went to all my favorite stamp companies and asked them to help me hook you up!

We have some fabulous and yummy stamp sets to give away from Flourishes. The ladies at Flourishes go above and beyond to offer some of the most elegant and timeless sets in the industry. Many of them have a European flavor that is just divine! I can't wait for you all to see what they sent!

Merci beaucoup, Flourishes!

Sweet and Charming

That perfectly describes crop door prize sponsor Heather Baker! Heather heard about the crop and offered to send us a gift certificate for her Etsy store to for a door prize! Heather makes custom soldered charms and if you win her gift certificate she will work with you to create a custom charm you will LOVE! This tiara charm has my name all over it!

Or how about a little something for the Twilight fan in your life?

Go check out Heather's store. You will love these charms! www.sweetandcharming.etsy.com

SpiritHorse Crop for a Cause 2009

Attention scrappers, stampers and all paper crafting artists: Mark your calendars!

We are proud to announce the date for the SpiritHorse Benefit Crop! The event will take place on March 28, 2009 at the Singing Oaks Church of Christ in Denton, TX. All the details are located in the right hand column.

It is my earnest opinion that paper crafters are some of the most talented and giving people in the world. When my friends, Dee and Sandi, approached me about helping to organize a fundraiser crop for an organization that is close to their hearts, I was interested immediately. What better way to spend a day than to gather the most talented people we know, share our love of all things paper crafting and raise awareness and funds for this worthwhile organization at the same time.

The organization we are supporting this spring is the SpiritHorse Therapeutic Center located in Corinth, TX. SpiritHorse is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides all private therapeutic horseback riding services free to people with disabilities, children who are victims of abuse, at-risk-youth, youth after drug-rehab and battered women. They currently serve over 450 children and adults FREE OF CHARGE, more than any center in the world. SpiritHorse depends on donations from foundations, corporations and individuals like you to support their program. Please visit their website to learn more about this wonderful organization and the difference they are making in the lives of children and young people in our community.

Dee has a personal connection to SpiritHorse and I have asked her to share what SpiritHorse has meant to her and her family.......

My name is Dee Wooten and my daughter Andee was in a severe car accident in 2004 at the young age of 16. After sustaining a severe traumatic brain injury, she has spent the time since fighting to regain much of that which was lost due to her injuries. The one thing no accident could take away was her spirit and her love for horses. When I first heard of horse riding therapy I began to check into some programs. But, with medical expenses still accumulating, how could we ever afford it? When I first heard of SpiritHorse, my first thought was how perfect the name sounded, but feared I'd be let down once again by the cost. Well, SpiritHorse did not let me down. When I was told that there would be no charge to the riders and their families, my spirits began to soar. Then that first day came when my daughter was once again sitting tall in the saddle. It felt so good to her to be looking down at us instead of looking up from her wheelchair. The freedom of being out of her wheelchair is a feeling that most of us cannot imagine.
I am so thankful to Mr. Charles (Charles Fletcher, Founder of SpiritHorse) that he had the vision to make SpiritHorse what it is today, with the help of volunteers and donors.
Riding therapy at SpiritHorse is still helping Andee in many ways such as gaining strength in her trunk muscles, balance, self-esteem, confidence, speech, and the list continues. You cannot put a price on the benefits one gets from horse riding therapy, and thanks to SpiritHorse, we don't have to.

Thank you for your interest in the SpiritHorse Crop and we hope you will join us for a fabulous day of scrapbooking and paper crafting to benefit this special organization. Please sign up to "follow our blog" as we are going to use this forum to keep you informed of up to the minute information about sponsors, door prizes and meals as all the plans for this day come together.

We only have 100 spots available for this crop and they are going FAST! To register email cropsforacause@yahoo.com or call 469-362-4541. If you get the answering machine please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Reserve your spot today. This is one crop you do NOT want to miss!
